Inpatient Geri-Psych Treatment
North Sunflower Medical Center’s Senior Care Unit is an INPAITENT TREATMENT PROGRAM for adults’ age 55 or older. North Sunflower Medical Center’s Senior Care Unit is designed to therapeutically treat problems affecting our aging population so they can maintain emotional and mental health. Treatment usually last 14 – 16 days. Medicare, Private Insurance and Self Pay are all accepted.

Warning signs that indicate the need for treatment:
- Change in appetite

- Fatigue or loss of energy
- Confusion or memory loss
- Loss of interest in appearance
- Suicidal thoughts
- Social withdrawal
- Difficulty thinking
- Agitation and fighting

Senior Care’s Medical Director, Dr. Margaret Cassada directs the weekly interdisciplinary team meeting to oversee quality patient care.
Patient family/caregiver involvement is an integral part to achieve the highest standard of care.
Anyone can refer an individual by calling the Senior Care Unit 24 hours a day for information or to schedule a time for an assessment at (662) 756-9910. Assessments are confidential, available at no cost and can be in the privacy of your home or in a healthcare facility.
